Will you help me remember a band?

I'm having some trouble remembering a band that someone recommended on here quite some time ago and was wondering if anyone could help me out.

There was a lead singer and backup singer and the lead had a very raspy sounding voice. The backup was female. The song I remember had lyrics about masturbation, and was talking about feeling more than just worthless/homeless or something along those lines. There was a very prominent ukelele or mandolin in this band and the album cover was red (i think) with a picture of a rat on it.

Any idea who this band is?
