Its my opinion that all this stuff causes more racism. I think 99% of people were horrified by the video and wont the cop to be put in jail or killed. But the stealing constant nagging 24/7 calling out racism is making people dislike them. I was in the store a couple months ago and a black man was caught shop lifting and he kept saying "its cause I black!". Its annoying. I use to like black girls but now I dont for that reason. If I tried to get with a black girl she would probably be like "You wanna fuck me cause I black!?!?"

Also robbing target and burning down pharmacies isnt gonna help anyone like black people.

Isnt it like 98% of blacks murdered are murdered by other blacks? And like somewhere around 1 or 2% is by cops. They offer no solutions to the problem. Their leaders they vote for dont want solutions they want it to continue to get votes and money. The police murder situation could easily be fixed. For example have an outside organization to investigate police misconduct. Make it to where the police dont have the power to investigate themselves. The anti white and anti America path will never work. In fact it will get much worse. Just go for solutions.

That 1-2% are white and Latinos. Cops dont really kill enough to even be seen on the counter for total deaths. Nearly 90% of black v police violence is completely justified for the police to take action. That other 10% is something they need to work on for everyone. I disagree with the third degree murder charge it's at least a 2nd degree murder. He knew the action was dangerous to do and other cops told him to get off.

If that is proven increases it to first degree murder. If not he still needs to get a fair judgment, you cant stoop to their level of asking for killing this guy for a crime he definitely did but their own laws make it so that hes not getting any more time.

No, here's a solution. Create an outside organization in control of investigating police misconduct. Take away the ability for cops to investigate themselves.

There's many many solutions but they dont push for it. Their leaders don't want to fix it I promise. If they wanted to it could be fixed easily. Their leaders get money and votes by keeping it going.

I like the people who burned down the police station. Messing up people's buisinesses isn't nice though.

The CIA put undercover operatives in the black panthers to radicalize them to violence so they could declare them a terrorist organization and assasinate high ranking members. Maybe this is similar?

I understand burning down the police station. A lot of people don't but all the founding fathers wrote about protecting your rights by force. That's why they gave us the 2nd amendment.

“What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.”

        Thomas Jefferson

“Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force."

I was thinking that, or they let it go to try to get some kind of public sympathy. Or just they aren't going to risk their lives to defend a building. Nothing in their job says they have to.

Look personally I'm not gona throw a molotov into a government building cause that's just dumb shit. I'm just a broke person who hates dealing with cops. I avoid them as much as possible. Even if you're not committing a crime it sucks that say you finished some odd job late at night and now you're getting your tools and stuff dumped in the grass on the side of the road cause you're walking home at 2am with a backpack and a folding shopping cart. Even if they don't find drugs they don't help you pick your shit up. The attitude is "congrats you're not going to jail today"

And no I'm not trying to say I know what it feels like to be black or anything politcal. The money spent on cops harassing poor people could go to help the poor or homeless, but then people who like the cops would be mad they got a pay cut. Cause money for police and military is always a good thing.

Exactly. Don't burn down some guy's bodega, that's not going to help anything.

The problem isn't black white or criminals who hate police in general. It's accountability. We have to hold them accountable. Suing the city for money for injuries while the cop is on paid leave is the opposite of that. They should be scared of civilians, WE are the authority and THEY are our paid servants.

I'm a long way from Milwaukee or any of the other US cities where there's unrest, but the story is getting considerable attention in the UK. (Second only to the hopelessly inadequate response to Covid by the lazy, incompetent fuckwits who run this country.)

From what I've gathered, it's wrong to see the rioters as a all being part of a monolithic, united movement with a single, coherent goal.

First, there are people - of all ethnicities - who are just completely pissed off with how cops clearly feel they can get away with using unjustified force on suspects, even if that leads to their death, and how the system usually moves to protect them even when they are charged with some crime.

Then there are those in the antifa movement who are always happy to challenge and attack the police and others in positions of authority because they are convinced the whole system is rotten to the core, it needs to be brought down and that justifies doing just about anything.

Then there are people who take advantage of the chaos to loot and destroy just for the hell of it.

Tarring everyone on the streets with the same brush isn't justified, since those who are protesting out of principle aren't there for the free booze and a new TV, and that probably also applies to many if not most of the antifa fanatics, while many of those who are robbing probably believe that nothing is ever going to change, so they see no point in protesting.

As for whether the current violence will achieve anything, who knows? Riots in the past have resulted in politicians shifting their priorities and paying more attention to groups which the current economic structure constantly shits on.

Everyone still in the streets absolutely SHOULD be tarred with the same brush. They are criminals at this point regardless of what the think they are doing they are adding to the problem.

This has nothing to do with black vs white in America. This is antifa and russians and it's fucking criminal.

Anyone on the streets at this point should be arrested and locked up for terrorism.

      Comment Hidden ( show )
    • That's hardly a fair review of the situation.

They share the same goals in terms of selfish gains be it through the excitement of chaos or from materialistic gain, both at the expense of the innocent. Most have displayed themselves as aligning with left wing, or far left groups like BLM and Antifa while throwing slogans like, "fuck Trump", some even bringing Trans rights into the subject for some fuckin' reason. This is largely left wing violence. left wing terrorism.

Yes, the ethnicity of the rioters to a degree are "diverse" but the rioters are overwhelmingly black. These riots have little to do with Floyd and far more to do with their own personal gain, which is why instead of targeting their rage towards the people their own reasoning points blame to they target indiscriminately, including black citizens. Floyd's death is widely being used an excuse.

Then comes the Antifa bit and you were insanely charitable with this group. These aren't groups of people that go around primarily targeting those with power like the authorities, these are groups that are widely known for going after people that differ from their ideology and attacking them, including women and the elderly. They are not some white knight savior fighting against the odds, infact they tend to be rather peaceful when confronting "the odds" because the law will hit back so instead go after those that have less security in numbers or defense.

Trying to pass the "people just taking advantage of the situation" as some small minority is absurd, the vast majority of the crime being committed in these riots are against those that had nothing to do with Floyd.

It seems like you're in support of these riots or at the very least on the fence, so let me give you an analogy. A school shooter shoots up the school because he was mercifully bullied and the school did nothing to stop it. Is that school shooter's victims who had nothing to do with him being bullied something you can advocate for or be on the fence about? Are the deaths of innocent kids permissible for the anti-bullying message to be made?

  • The riots have fuck all to do with Floyd and everything with reprobates exploiting the murder to engage in ways they always had the moral capacity to engage in. How the fuck does looting protest law enforcement's treatment of black people? It doesn't. How in the holy fuck does burning innocent people's, including black people's businesses down to the ground in the name of fighting for that black person make any sense in the context of Floyd's death? It doesn't. How does destroying their own communities to defend those communities make any sense in the context of Floyd? It doesn't.

I'm so fucking sick of this shit, man. Now I'm hearing people say there's reports of white women being gang raped? These people are vermin, fucking vermin, and they deserve to be eradicated from the grounds they're destroying and their ashes contributing to the pile they've caused.

It's so fucking hard not to turn to the Alt-Right who are probably sitting there with their big shit-eating grins right now with the biggest "I told you so" in the chamber because even though I'm opposed to the Alt-Right I'm starting to fuckin' wonder if they have a point since this shit got so big.
I could understand targeting police stations, cops, government institutions, I might not condone it but the logic is understandable but this fuckin' chaos only leads down to the logical explanation that these people WANT to act this way and just needed a way to morally blackmail the world to justify the unjustifiable.

Trump better fucking send the boys in, he can talk the talk but now is time to show that he has the pair he boasts about.

And I swear to fuck if I hear one single person bitching about how citizen's don't need the right to have firearms after this extremely large group the authorities have done little to nothing to stop then I'm just going to tell them "Minnesota" because that is the one fuckin' word anyone needs from this point forward when it comes to that discussion.

One of the local protesters (a group of 4 young African american men in chicago) were interviewed this morning, and this is partly what they said, “I am causing violence because when we protested peacefully, you [the police] did almost nothing. We played by the rules and you still went around murdering. We attack with violence because it’s the only way you will listen to us, and when we fight in full force, there isn’t enough enforcement for you to stop us.”

That's obviously BS, since violence has resolved a lot of problems in the history of the world. But what's really odd is how those who are statistically most likely to be saying it right now are the same people who are most likely to automatically support America inflicting extreme violence on people outside the borders of the USA.

I'm not a violent person, but we're past the point where peaceful demonstration is going to work on a criminal gang of bullies.

You see the video of that NYPD cop throwing a woman on the ground causing her to have a seizure? That's how they react to peaceful protesters. They dig their heels in and make bold statements like that, that they're going to do whatever the hell they want and take taxpayer money that could go to feeding homeless kids for the sake of paying for these cops crimes.

I could personally care less if people loot and burn target or autozone or some other shitty corporate place like that.

Well, so long as they don't attack random innocent people or damage any property belonging to them. And so long as it's only the government/police that they're attacking and the billion dollar corporations' property they're looting and burning, then fair enough. Only then would it be a purposeful directed rebellion, but otherwise it'd just be stupid senseless violence.

But honestly, from what I've seen about riots anyway, most of them have only ever been about angry idiots fighting each other, and burning down cars/shops owned by the decent working-class guys just trying to make a living. I've never heard about any government buildings being burned down or any politicians being killed. They all just wait out the riots, safe in their million-dollar mansions, while the poor people suffer from it.

        Comment Hidden ( show )

        • SmokeEverything

I guess if I try to put it in a less angry or personal way, I believe people have the right to tear down institutions they're paying for if they have problems with them that refuse to be resolved. If cops are killing people and getting away with it, or working for the mafia, yeah go for it and tear the police station down. If you run a multimillion dollar buisiness that's strangled out tons of independent jobs people used to do for themselves, I'm not gonna cry you lost profit. The last thing a corrupt system will hold onto is the corruption. You can't say there's never a good reason to break a window.

It's easy for the people who show up to stop an angry protest to agitate the mob and turn it violent so they can bring out the tear gas, and the medias job is to make dissenting people look bad so the majority falls in line. There's more profit in attacking target than the courthouse. So the scumbags all go to target and they're the ones the news shows.
