Will taking nootropics affect my personality?

I'm twelve years old and I recently heard about these "brain drugs" that are supposedly able to increase brain activity or stimulate the nervous system or something. I was wondering if taking such drugs will disrupt or damage the chemical structure/balance of my brain and thus altering my overall mental state. I just want to now what the risks are. Thanks.

  • They make you mentally sharper. You may be more patient regarding certain situations as you could become more analytical and diverse in your thinking.

This isn't a "is this normal" question.

If you take drugs that increase brain activity the younger you are the more impact they will have. In my opinion i think you would have the greatest benefit at a younger age if you wanted to become some kind of brain steriod mind freak. Take alot and control the world

Don't ever take any new drugs because no matter how good they seem now they lack the studies to determine their long term effects.

If you are only 12, I wouldn't do it. Same with energy drinks and stuff like that. You body and brain are still growing. You could do some serious damage, so please don't risk it.
