It would depend on the amenities provided.
Obviously I couldn't be dropped by myself in any of these places without food, water, shelter, etc.
Igloo, camel, machine gun, ghostbuster gun? How will I be equipped for each place?
A haunted forest. I think I would enjoy participating in the haunting efforts. The trees are my friends. And those fairies aren't all bad, just mischevious.
Jungle. If left there with nothing in my possession except the clothes on my back, this place would have the most usable resource to help me with my survival. There would be plenty of water as I would assume it would rain a good amount. There would also be enough wild life that I can get for food and not become prey.
That's a good answer. You'd have to have some local knowledge since beween the jungle, arctic, and desert, the jungle has the least issues with exposure, but also has the most non-exposure ways to die. Tigers, poison plants & mosses, gorillas, guerillas, snakes, crocodiles, etc.
Also the most disease.
I don't count the other two because I don't believe in ghosts. The island sounds like something from a Scooby Doo episode.
i would choose jungle, don't know, maybe i'll meet mogli and the whole gang of jungle book characters...
Desert. I love heat.
Besides, there's no such thing as haunted since ghosts don't exist.
Because the bottomline in what I said is that arguments from personal experience are not evidence so it's a fallacy. Only measurable, reproducible evidence counts. If it's personal we can claim anything. I had dinner with a green alien yesterday night. I know from personal experience. This is how your argument sounds to the rational mind.
It depends on what you mean by "jungle". If you mean "rainforest", those are actually really nice. I'd be worried my impact, but maybe I could work for that sloth rehabilitation place.
The old abandoned railroad tracks I used to sleep on when I was homeless, instead of your options.
I would choose the Artic wastland I if could vote. You're surrounded by water (ice, snow) and there are lots of animals to eat.
