To educate myself better for making objective decisions. To rule the universe, one must have that skill.
To learn. A better job and more money are obvious advantages, but my goal would be to learn more.
You go to college to give yourself a better future. Today, you can't so much sweep the floors of a random restaurant without having a degree. Of course, this isn't the case for the majority but please recognize that a college education can both enlighten an individual and provide a brighter future.
I come from a family belonging in the middle of low class and middle class. it's hard and i have the opportunity to receive college education to better my future. I hate school with a passion but one day I'm going to be a mother and if my husband turns out to be a bum, then I have to do this for my kids, my family.
To make more money so Im not one of those people who say later on in life "I wish I finished college!!!"
I really just love to learn.....and if i end up makin more money, that's good too :}
To get a great job and make enough money to live comfortably. If you don't go to college, I can guarantee you that your adult life will be beyond stressful and you'll always be worried about having enough money to live. Go to college!
To terrorize and mutilate pathetic college frat boys with my broad sword.
Sincerely
PSG
I don't really want to go to college, but its just I feel obligated and have not choice but to go. Think about it, our only options after high school are to go to college, start working, or join the military. I thought college would be fun, this is my second year and I can say that I am wasting time, money and effort and feel like quitting, but it would be an even bigger waste of time money and effort to quit now without some sort of degree. In my opinion, college is a scam
To get a job anymore you NEED a college education. What i don't understand is that if it is such a necessity, why not make it cheaper so that people can actually afford it without having to go through loans, and be 20,000 dollars in debt before they can even find a high paying job.
My friend graducated college with a masters degree in management.... After several months she has finally got her first ever job... Cleaning out bathrooms at wendy's :/
basically for the parties and meeting people and shit .
but not living on the streets is a good advantage too ;)
college is stupid, why spend more time at school than is needed? to get a better job? why cant you just settle for the job you already have??? crazy people, always wanting more than they've got. Why can't they just be content with what they have??
To expand my knowledge, get the hell away from my mom, and make big money :]
I would never want to go to college. I don't want to waste any more of my pointless life being stuck with stupid ugly humans, learning pointless things to help us "fit in" with society...
I'm in my final year of college... I'm going to university soon, can't wait =]
the first two are the same and what i put, but the more i hear about it the less i want to go, and the more i know the less i care about money :/
btw i think high school has been a waste of time and people put to much value in a degree, as in any at all being to much, and the highschool teachers all wanted to be teachers at some point not true with collage where some just wanted grant money or the labs or what ever the reason research is done there and not else where
I want to go to college for music. For music education, you NEED a degree, otherwise they won't take you seriously. :/ But I want to double major with music composition also, primarily for the opportunities to learn more about the craft and to network.
Can't get a decent job without college - you'll surely be flipping burgers, haha.
My parents are forcing me to (for the "family image"). But I guess I do want to go to college, for my own personal success.
I go to college so could could learn and get a better job. Also, so I can get closer to my goals.
The money, the cars, cars n' the clothes, the ho's i suppose. I just wanna be successful/
