It just doesn't make sense to me and I wish it did. There's this guy that I really like but he told me that he only wanted to mess around with me and I just don't get it. He said that he likes my personality and stuff but he doesn't want me like that. But he says that he doesn't want else either because a past relationship messed him up. But if he was gonna date anybody itd only be one other girl. So that kinda makes me sad. I Just don't get it.

    If it's agreeable to both parties, it can work. I've done it a couple of times with girls I knew well, in between relationships. It definitely won't work if either of the participants wants an emotional involvement.
    You might be better to move on and find someone that is looking for the same thing as yourself.

    What don't you get? It sounds as if he's been honest with you so you can make an informed decision on whether or not to have sex with him, which is more than you'd get from most people who only want sex from another person.

    It has nothing to do with a past relationship. That is a bs excuse. He just doesnt want to be in a relationship with you. I highly suggest not sleeping with the douchebag.

    there are plenty of girls that I only want sex from...why? because I am attracted to them...but find their personality , intelligence, character, lifestyle or circumstanses a turn off for anything more than that

    What a jerk. Tell him to buy a blowup doll to stick his dongle in. It won't mind that he's shallow and self centered. You're degrading yourself with a person like him. Don't buy the 'hurt' ploy either. She probably dumped him for the same reason.
