Why soo many complaints over deleted comments?

Fair enough if your just in disagreement.
I wrote a post about smoking w/ friends n someone responded sum b.s about using my parents money......
...I run my own business n told them - then deleted their comment and asked for a proper response.
To which I was told "im immature" for deleting their comment and "cant handle opinons". loool Really?? I've noticed alot of you complain about deleted comments in other places but if your opinion is useless and not even relevant - why should an OP keep it there? I also think it frees up space for those with relevant opinions....but clearly....I just cant handle disagreeing opinons lol.
Is it normal for me to think like this? Seems like everybody else believes NO MATTER WHATS POSTED , IF YOU DELETE IT, YOU WERE WRONG!!? That immature if you ask me.
(Yes I will delete b.s/non-relevant comments from this comment section)

    I can think of a few reasons.

    1. Nobody likes to be censored.
    2. Nobody likes to take the time to write something only for it to get deleted.
    3. Everyone must accept that not everybody will agree. It is everybodys right to say whatever they want regardless of how dumb they are.

    The main reason is that some people are just too full of themselves. Those types also have complained at me for deleting their comments that were completely off topic.

    I find most often my responses are deleted by those who don't like me, no matter how relevant they may be. Sometimes a post strikes my funny bone and I interject a bit of that humor, but it goes and I think a bit of fun is lost.
    But with the dumbasses, like this child always posting about taking coke 20000 times a day or thinking it's pretty on meth, well, I just can't help but unleash my bad boy on that sort of trash. Anyone who offers it (boy/girl?) any good advice is ridiculed or disparaged, so it is easy to dislike it.
    It has not posted one single thread with any substance, that I have seen, and I cannot understand why it bothers to post at all. It doesn't care what anybody has to say; it's going for shock value and failing miserably, IMO. So, after being threatened with death and then being told how much it hates me, it deletes every post I make, whether on subject or not. I don't care; cut n paste, cut n paste. Push submit.

    I think I get what you're saying. You're saying you delete comments that are irrelevant to the actual post then those people complain that their comment that was irrelevant to the post got deleted?

    I hate when that happens. It's like saying "What's 2+2?" then having someone respond with "RED!"...Then you just sit there like "Really? -_-" so delete it, just to have them come back like "YOU JUST CAN'T HANDLE OPPOSING OPINIONS!"...No, I just can't stand people not responding under the context of the post. If you can't respect the OP enough to respond under the context given then they are not obligated to respect you as a commenter and take it seriously, which may result in it being deleted.

    What's the worst of it is when the irrelevant comment that is not a response to the post's context gets the most thumbed up...You just sit there like "Why? I can deal with views that oppose mine or may be offensive but WHY make an irrelevant comment that does not run under the context of the question get the thumbed up, therefor making the irrelevant comment the most relevant response on the post?

    Sometimes I forget that there are idiots on this page. Not all, maybe not even most, but they're still here. -_-

      ^^THIS :( loool its sooo annoying ur stuck there, like....REALLY BRUHHH!!!! And whts worse is becuz u deleted the original waffle they posted, ppl assume they was actually trying to say something valid :O LIFE

        What's even more annoying is when the person who made the post keeps responding claiming their response was a valid one under the context given...You just sit there like "No...No."

        I find it funny when they do it to me and try to claim I just want everyone to agree with me, hence why I delete comments that I don't like...Even though I leave comments that I disagree with and deviate from what I am stating aslong as they stick with the context of the post...Then when you show them that you get this "..."

        Lol.
