Why so many gay and bi women nowadays?

You can blame lesbians but I'm sure you are 100% to blame for yourself being single.

There aren't "more gay and bisexual" people, there are just more people who come out of the closet now. You can't blame someone and their sexuality for your lack of being able to get some. Who knows, maybe you suck. Asking this question itself says something about you.

I think they've always made the same percent of the population, it's just now that they're not as afraid about coming out as they were before. I have nothing against them, but I agree that it is making it harder for a regular joe to find a good woman :(

Quite a long time ago (a year or two) I read an article stating that there are more homosexual men than women, which I can completely agree with just by my experience living in numerous locations and how I have seen far more gay men than gay women. That coupled with the fact that male homosexuality is far more, well, picked on than the female version so gay men also face more which may have them stay in the closet far more.

One, bi peeps have always been around. It's just that more are coming out as such and laws are in place to protect against violence of that sort (plus media coverage).

Two, you have to realize some people date for personality or the way they're treated or even just their preference. They could be just not attracted to you; it's fully their decision. It's tough being single, but finding the right match is worth it.

And truthfully, blaming people who are bi/lesbian and girls that date other men is whinny and small-minded. Instead of blaming others, you'll find more progress thinking about what you can change (and better) about yourself. gl

Drop your opinions, accept the fact that not all women will find you attractive and make the best of what you've got - you will meet somebody who likes you.........even if its another opinionated homophobic like yourself!

You really can't blame the gay gals for your inability to meet straight girls; it makes no sense at all. I don't see how it makes it any harder to get a date with a straight girl. I don't see why a straight guy would even have that much contact with the gay community. What you are saying is very similar to someone saying they can't meet a white girl, because there are too many black girls in a black neighborhood.

Most gay people are male. Think of it this way they take 2 dudes out of the picture leaving more straight women for straight men.

The genders are growing apart and weak minds, both male and female, are being swayed by activists into hating one another.

I am a lesbian, I was born a lesbian. I did try to date a male but.. it isn't for me. No male "made" me a lesbian, hell.. have you looked at women? Women are hot :D

Being a lesbian isn't about "making it hard" for the straight males, as the OP insinuates. Sounds like a bit of a victim complex there if you ask me.

If you can't get a date, be you straight, bi or gay, then the problem is probably YOU.

I am not good looking, but I can get dates cos I know how to treat people. I know how to make my dates smile and have a nice time. That's the difference between getting a call the day after and being ignored.

More and more women are experimenting with one another these days, and now it has become a common thing for them. And what else is new.

Two things.

I personally don't think that there are ACTUALLY more. Now that we don't crucify women for saying they are what they are, they just speak up more often. It's like complaining about how there are more autistic children now after someone decided to broadened the definition of autistic children.

Here's another thing, I strongly doubt there are that many. My guess is that it's a guess to get you off their backs.

How would you know how many gay women there were in the past and in the present? Are you some sort of population data analyst or something? Do you have a top seceret job in the govt? You simply cant blame lesbians for the reason you are unlucky in finding love. They are not stealing women from you, i guarantee it. If a woman wants to be with a man, thats where shes going to be. Instead of blaming others for your misfortune, look at yourself. I do wish you luck, as i do like to believe that there is somebody for everybody out there and everybody should experience true love at least once in their life.
