Most people lie to themselves, people think because they see something a certain way that's how all people are, that is why most of us get disappointed because people fail to see that there is good and bad in world, realistically keep in mind there is balance in this world not the way you see it, that is where people in general are delusional.
I think most people are probably delusional or misinformed about something including you so I voted normal! I suspect that it's the tendency for people to look for "evidence" to support their beliefs rather than evidence to find out if their belief is correct or not. I suspect this is human nature for most people.
Reality bites! It's the only reason I can think of why people would ignore the truth.
The world itself is an insane place. Only the strong survive. Convincing yourself that life isn't harsh or isn't unfair or any one of a number of different nonsense ideas is just a waste of time.
Everyone hates the truth. Why do you think that one person who says what everyone else is too nice and politically correct to say always ends up getting voted down?
