Why is this guy looking at me every day?

Why would a guy stare at me all the time? While I'm dining by myself, he'll walk on by and watch me -- sometimes he'll turn around and pointedly look at me. No one's ever behind or next to me, so I know it's me he's looking at. When I catch him, he quickly turns his head away but then looks back to see if I'm still looking at him. He looks "embarrassed" like I just "caught" him somehow.

I thought maybe he confused me for someone else. I am not pretty - I have a super big nose + long face. But he's been doing this for months now?!?!? Now I think he does it because I look at him so much? I can't help it, if I see him looking at me, I reflexively watch him to better understand why he would even look at me! But if an ugly girl stared at you frequently, wouldn't you avoid her eye contact to discourage her from looking at you?

I also thought he might be interested in befriending me, but he hasn't approached me at all. Once, he turned around and his eyes went HUUUUGE when I appeared -- it looked like he was scared of me.

Another time we walked past each other and he looked straight into my eyes for like.. 40 seconds?? It was so long that I had to break away because it made me uncomfortable and confused. :/

Can someone explain this stranger to me?

    Maybe he finds you attractive and he's scared of approching you. Maybe he's the stalker Chinese guy dancing with a polar bear from another post lmao

    Maybe he's from the Guinness World Records thing and thinks you could qualify for the longest nose/face record? Jokes :) definately a shy guy if you keep seeing him say in one place looking at you... but if you see him everywhere i'd be willing to bet he's stalking you :/ good luck though and congratulations on the award! :)

    Lol you may think you are ugly but you are probably really pretty to him, I like girls that look exotic and different. He probably just likes you if he does approach him. and then he could be a psychopathic murderer trying to lure and kill and rape you..

    He's probably in to you. Maybe he has a thing for big noses...I really like premature gray hair on a guy and will find myself staring. Why don't you just say something? I wouldn't flat out say, "why are you staring?" tho. He'd probably get embarrassed. I'd acknowledge his stare with a head nod or smile. Maybe when you walk by, say hello. Who knows what could happen

    Its just looking, maybe he does like you. But don't make a big deal out of it, coz then you'll seem weirder than him.

    It sounds like he's stalking you. I mean he could like you and be nervous but just watching someone is a freaky thing to do.

    I think maybe you should ask him what he's doing but make sure it's in public, in daylight with lots of other people around just to be on the safe side.

    Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, just cuz you think your ugly dosent mean a guy can't find you hot. Maybe he does crush on you.
    So my point is, guys have different tastes.

    I think he is just very shy.I think you should talk to him.don't be so hard on your self about looks I don't think a man would want to stare at a girl hour after hour day after day GOOD LUCK!!!

    he has a big crush on you. trust me im a guy and it happened to me times b4. if u like him too then hint that u like him enuff for him to gfeel confident enuff to ask u out. if u dont like him then dont be too nice to him or he will keep doing the same. maybe introduce him to sum1 else if he gets the picture
