Why is there a stigma against furries?
I had never heard of a furry until people starting asking me if I was a furry so I looked it up and its not quite what I do but has some similarities. I don't wear the masks but I do wear the ears and sometimes a tail, paw gloves and face paint. Wearing animal costumes isn't the only thing I do either. I also mix in superhero features, steam punk, cyborg and whatever else I feel like dressing as (police officer, punk rock style, pimp suits, glue crab claws to my fingers, etc.) I will often mix up the themes together into bizarre outfits. Anyways since hearing about furries I have not quite understood why most the references towards them is negative. That said I have no desire to have sex with someone dressed like a mascot for a baseball team but I do enjoy a hot girl in a sexy costume.
I wear my unusual outfits to express myself. I loved Halloween as a kid and there is no reason I shouldn't be able to dress like that whenever the fuck I want. I have fun doing it and don't really care if people judge and actually most people like my outfits. I am also in the entertainment business and it expresses my eccentric personality.
