Why is it taht when i walk in a room everybody stares?

Im an average girl. Im twenty five now, and as I look at my life I see how terrible it is. I have no female friends, all of my friends have been for the most part male. I was never the model type or the gorgeous female, I had many insecurities and was never the popular girl. So I really dont understand why whenever I walk in a room females stare at me, and some go beyond and further to roll their eyes at me, and than the guys just glare at me as if Im this sexual object. I really want to establish female bonds and I feel like im missing out, but what happenes when you tried in so many angles and they reject you left and right? I mean is this normal?

    Don't worry about it. Friends are overrated. Netflix is the real MVP.

    I was assuming you were just more of a tomboy, hence why you have more male friends. Maybe you have guy humor and all. If you want female friends, don't look for them. Friends technically come to you in the end.

    Just be nice to people who treat you well and be yourself.

    Give more priority to work and education. If you finished your College, get a job. Its time to grow up, ignore what people thinks about you and enter a professional life...

    Be who you are. Try to pursue them and have some conversations. But if they rejected you think of this "who are they anyway". Im having a hard time looking for a friend I could trust and im not friendly either. Sometimes im just silent and waiting for someone to talk to me and pursue me. I have few friends but I could all trust them. Maybe you are different in some ways. Who wants to become normal anyway. Be grateful of your friends, they are very hard to find. You dont need fake friends. Friends will come to you at the right time and at the right place.
