Thongs are super comfy, and frankly i could care less if people thought me gay for wearing them
There are thongs for guys and they are comfortable for tight clothing. It don't make anyone gay.
Underwear is made according to body shape and comfortably match other clothes.
Even if some guy wears women's clothes for other pleasures he shouldn't be considered gay as its actually different fetish.

I've tried on thongs and wish It was socially acceptable for guys to wear them and not get thought of as gay or bi. Thongs are so comfy and as for g-strings i am guessing they are comfy to. I don't personally own any but i have tried some on at the store and they are comfy as hell. I wish society would view thongs and g-strings on men like they view boxers on men.
My husband wears thongs and g string when goes to office or any function. He feels very comfortable. At home he says good bye to clothes like me.
I am straight and in hot days I wear thongs under my clothes and at pools and beaches where accepted. People including my ex tells me I look good in them. I am slender 5'11" 150 lbs. and pretty fit. I think that fit people are good looking. But, overweight people should not wear them, spandex, or any other tight clothes.

It looks different if a guy wears girls clothes. It will seem funny to me I may think he is a crossdresser but not gay.
