Why are there so many obviously lonely people in the world? With the world population, it doesn't really make sense. We should be all getting along.
is it normal to see this. And accept judgmental opinions as such.
People are too picky and superficial. They will waste their whole life waiting for "something better" to come along.
Humanity has never had so many isolating activities, and even more dangerously, we've never had so many social substitutes for in-person, face-to-face conversations before.
What we're doing right now, with text online, is a hollow substitute for going out and speaking with somebody else. If lifeless text is your sole form of daily interaction, you're going to be lonely.
It's a result of the alienation that comes with our decadent modernity. There's nothing that forces people together, and so they don't bother.
