Why don't i laugh at funny tv shows/movies?

I love to watch funny shows as South Park, The Simpsons, Big Bang Theory etc and funny movies like Anchorman, 21 Jump Street, Hangover etc. but when I watch them I barley or not at all laugh or barley even smile!! Even fail army videos on youtube don't make me laugh. While everyone else around me is laughing at it I just sit there still. I see the humour on it but just doesn't make me laugh... I laugh at things like when I make fun of someone or when my friend makes fun someone or when my cats have a cat fight or (because I'm from Australia or I watch rugby league we have a commentator with a croaky voice and sometimes laugh so hard when he is commentating ) There is many stupid things I laugh at that nobody else really does. I don't get why I laugh at such stupid things and not laugh at things every other normal person does! Is it normal that I don't laugh at comedy tv/movies and I still enjoy them?

    Yes me too. Things that happens in comedy movies today is to be expected. It's like they ran out of ideas.

    I have a similar issue. I always laugh to myself at absolutely nothing when I'm in a good mood, but for the life of me I cannot laugh at jokes or movies unless someone else is laughing at it. I still find jokes funny but I usually just smile or chuckle at them.

    The only things that have gotten me to laugh have been British Television, things from Japan, French cabaret acts, Televunos (Spanish Soap operas), Gumball, and That's So Raven. There's a theme here. With the exception of the last show, American humour doesn't make me laugh. I don't like nor understand my country's humour. You sound like you don't like it either. My mother is the same way. I don't know how normal this is.

    Yeah, it's normal. You have a different style of humor, that's all. You acknowledge funny movies and appreciate the jokes in it but I think you have more of a twisted sense of humor.

    There's this movie called I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry. See if you laugh at what that Chinese guy says about circles.
