Why does my son need to pee as soon as he eats

Why does my 10 year old son need to pee everytime he eats? Everytime we sit down for a meal he has to go half way through eating it, whether we are eating at home or out. At first I thought he was just being awkward and told him to wait until he had finished eating. But one time he actually wet himself and I felt so guilty... I let him go everytime now. I try to send him to the toilet before he eats but he still feels the need to go while he's eating??? Is this normal?

I have to pee as soon as I wake up every morning. It could just be his circadian rhythm, his natural clock.

I'm a slender person and feel the same way...maybe that's an issue with him. I'd still have him checked by your doctor.

My two sons, age 5 and 6, are exactly the same way! We never make it thru a meal without them getting up in the middle to go to the restroom.

Could b a bladder condition. Can't hurt to ask his pediatrician.

is he really small? I'm a really small person and I always have to pee after I eat. I think it's because there's not enough room for the liquids and the food..

    Leave him alone.
