Why does he change the pace of his heartbeat to match mine?

Almost every time me and him cuddle I have noticed he will change the pace of his heartbeat so his heart beats at the same time as mine. It doesn't change till about 5-10 minutes into cuddling. Can someone please tell me why this happens? Does he do it on purpose?

    I am not trying to be smart / or cute, but get a calendar, and if he is still your boyfriend after 6-months - then do not worry. If after 6-months he is more in love with you than the day your met you have a great boyfriend.

    But, if the relationship tragically ends after 6-months or sooner, I suspect the "heart beat matching" trick is only a ploy to seduce you into liking him more; fall in love with him.

    I had a boyfriend do this and he was only a Master Casanova..... A [Giacomo Girolamo Casanova ] in training perfecting his power of influencing skills over women.

    Get a calendar darling! This behavior appears intentional. Maybe I am wrong so let me know how it works out after a couple of months.

      Actually I've been with him since the end of 2012. I was 18 and he was almost 27. I don't think he's trying to do anything like that
