Why does everybody complain so much about diapers?

I'm 18 and I have been babysitting a family of three kids quite often for 4 years.
At first, they had a kid, so i had to change his diapers; they had two more kids so i have been changing diapers almost the whole four years.

I never cared about it. It's not "nice" but it doesnt bother me.
But then when i tell people about babysitting they all ask with disgusting faces if i dare to change them. and when i say it doesnt gross me out, they don't understand.

IIN? Do you feel grossed out to change diapers?

    I had to do it for my brother and sister when they were younger. Other than the smell, it doesn't bother me that much but then again I had to do it day in and day out so eventually, you stop caring right

    Now if it were an adult... god I admire the kind of people that can change ADULT diapers...

      Barring medical miracles, many of us will live to need adult diapers. Sad but true. Some women use adult diapers for their menses. Both cloth and disposable. We're so NOT touching kink for now. But Diapers are simply a part of life. And few NORMAL people "like" dealing with excrement absent it being "their" kink which is also a not fair to judge if it's private/consensual.

      Dealing with kid's diapers is a NORMAL part of parental duties or those of caregivers. Like or dislike's a separate case.

    Not at all i chaged a few diaper on my nieces when they were little never been bother by it not a fan of poopy diapers though

    I hate things like that, it`s one of the main reasons that I don`t have children, & couldn`t work in a care home.

    Ive changed plenty of diapers when babysitting, including my own. It doesn't bother me one bit.

    me too. I raised two chilren. Didn't think much about shitty or wee wee diapers. No problem. Changed them quickly used the wipe and threw them in the plastic bag from the supermarket wherein i promptly threw them outside in the garbage pail. No I never have a problem. Shitting is part of life.

    I don't actually mind it, my cousin has asked me to babysit her son and she said there might be some diaper changing involved. well anyway that never happened but i have seen it done before and it doesn't bother me

    Yep, baby body fluids are not a big thing , big kid and grown up fluids are nasty .

    Sure it's gross. But humas are pretty gross animals. People do often make a big deal over nothing.
