Why do users lash out at each other? iin?

I've noticed this on some posts. The Op will lash out/insult the person trying to help them. Or in other cases a user(who is not a troll) will lash out/insult the Op just for seeking simple advice. I can't take these types of people seriously on here. Is it normal for people to be so grouchy over the internet? To be clear, this isn't about the people that are blunt and don't sugarcoat stuff because those pieces of advice are actually helpful and contribute something here.

Some users forget this is just an internet site and that there's nothing to get angry or aggressive about. It's best if users just ignore certain posts if they are that easily offended. When I see a hurricane, I drive around it.

Some may lash out at certain posts if they had a bad experience like one mentioned in a post. And example would be that the OP is thinking about cheating on their spouse. If the person posting a comment had been cheated on and it was a particularly bad experience for them, then they might lash out due to still being hurt by that. It has nothing to due with the OP, and everything to do with them still being hurt. The people that lash out for no reason, or lash out for stupid shit are just assholes.

There are people who want to become popular with their 'funny' comments. Some want to create themselves some personality and some are young and get easily offended.

Why do human beings disagree with each other? I thought that world peace had existed for all eternity.

  • Interpretation is one thing. I sometimes lash out but only after certain things, othertimes (such as responding to an initial response) I am told to sound aggressive even though I am not being aggressive, it just comes out that way.

Some people are a bit aggressive initially but I would say that most assumed to be aggressive are just typing how they would speak without aggressive intent.

So, some people need to understand that percieving aggression on here does not mean that aggression has taken place.

I'll give an example of why I will sometimes lash out.

    Example:

Person one: -Brings over a topic of discussion-

Person two: I disagree and here is why. (which is fine)

Person one: Well I don't see your arguments are valid, and here is why.

Person two: You're wrong, I'm right, why are you being so aggressive? Why are you not accepting my points?

Person one: No, saying you're right when you can't defend your position is stupid and just because you offer an answer does not mean your answer is a correct one that the OP hasn't already considered and found reason to not see as valid.

Person two: No, you just don't know what you're talking about and are wrong.

    Person one: You fucking srs?

Those situations irk me and I think I am justified, as anyone would be, in being irritated by that, as if being given an answer to a question you ask makes ALL answers given to you valid and unable to be seen as wrong when given reason by the question asker.

But, Im going on and on. Some lash out for valid reasons, some don't. You can't exactly figure out the problem if people are going to make excuses for you having a rebuttal to their points.
