Why do some people hate jews?

I don't know why some people hate Jews I just don't get it. I know plenty of Jews and they are ok people my godmother is Jewish(who is super nice) and I grew up with plenty of Jews and they are just like anyone else. So what's the deal almost every country has some group that dosent like Jews in varying degrees. And they all seem to think that Jews are secretly trying to conquer the world or something.

    for sucha small groupa people they hold lotsa wealth & power and some think they use it unfairly

    from what ive seen they value education & smarts more than lotsa other groups they can be insular and theyre very focused & driven at gettin what they wants

    course as recent history has shown us blindly focusin on ambition & winnin comes at the pricea ethics & decency

    personally i prefers to see them as the group who gave us mel brooks and the three stooges

    Nobody hates any ethnic group unless they're taught to do so. I have lots of criticisms of judaism and zionism but that's not anti semitic, given many jews, including those living in israel, have the same criticisms.

      Zionism is political with some religious zealotry added in and most Jews aren't Zionists. I don't see any criticisms of Zionism as racism hell most of the Jewish people I know aren't fans of Zionism for various reasons. So your right about everything you said.

        Fear of people who are different: it's a tribal survival thing going back to primitive times, but ridiculous today.

        In the case of anti semitism, the catholic church has a lot to answer for with its rubbish about the jews having killed jesus. Funny that, wasn't he doing his father's bidding getting crucified? And wasn't he a jew himself?

          No Ellenna you missed my point. Your claim, “Nobody hates any ethnic group unless they’re taught to do so” is not logically consistent.

          It would imply that for every ethnic group for which there is hatred towards, there would need to be at least one person who was ‘taught’ to hate them, but the ‘teacher’ could not hate the group themselves.

          I see this as entirely unlikely and thus your statement is false.

    One side of my family is Jewish, I can confirm they're not trying to conquer the world. Antisemitism has been happening for thousands of years. Some people like to blame their problems on others. At one time Jews were an easy target, now some people have moved onto hating other groups.
    It never ends -_-
