Why do some people hate brokeback mountain?
Seriously, what's so bad about the movie? I absolutely loved the film. And thought it was beautiful. So why do some people hate it so much? What are your reasons?

I use to share a netflix account with one of my friends, so of course we could see what each other were watching through the recent viewing history. I watched Brokeback Mountain one night and had to take a lot of shit for it because it showed up on recently viewed. It is actually a good movie. You don't have to be gay or a fruit to enjoy it.
It's like this one time I was walking down the street and this guy asked me if I wanted to buy a stereo and I was like not for that price. Ya feel me?
Okay it's like this, a monkey has a tail but not all dogs have tails. Some people like rootbeer and some like it not, ya feel me?
Well no it was not a bad film. However I must say the two main characters that were suppose to be boyfriend and boyfriend were complete jerks. They had no consideration for how the wife felt about everything. She even begged him to stop and he lied and said "Oh don't worry its nothing" and went to fuck him again. This film kind of annoyed me just because I had to watch these two jerks betray their families.
maybe cause its about to men put it in their asshole where poop comes out of, that is the only think about being gay, if you love men your not gay unless you put it in the ashole, and if you just put it int the ass and not love the man your also not gay, but they fact gay fags act like biches and put their wineir in a butthole as if it is some deep meaningful thing, is what i hate about gayfags, and im not even striahgtt, stay mad homos
Because it portrays non feminine homosexuals in a sensual relationship. It puts it right infront of them that theere are gay people out there that they can't stuck a label on at a glance. And it makes em uncomfortable. The fact that their neighbor might be 'one of those ass rammin homo's' or their caddy, or their whatever or whoever. If they don't know ur gay for sure, how can they demean you with any effectiveness?
Heath Ledger's performance in this film rates in my opinion as one of the best I've ever seen. He plays a man who cannot come to grips with his own sexuality and so enters into a fraudulent and unhappy marriage that ends poorly. He captures the emotional trauma this man puts himself through with very little dialogue and great intensity.
Only reason people hate it is because it's not a woman with tits in that tent getting rear ended. It's the solid fact.
I've never seen it nore have I ever been tempted. I's just one of these movies that didn't look like I was in the target audience.
Just like when all important characters in a movie are women I don't usually watch it because I can't really identify with anyone. That doesen't make it a bad movie in any way, I just don't need to see it.
One can waste a lot of time thinking about what people like or don't like, I wouldn't recommend it.
