Why do some guys think i like them when i don’t?

Have you ever had those instances when you’re really tired and you tend to stare into space? And when the person in front of you glances at you and then you notice them looking at you and so you look at them back and you make eye contact and then you break eye contact because it’s awkward and now they think that you like them? This happens a lot to me with the same guy. Just thinking about it makes me cringe. And I sense that he became wary of me and he makes a lot of stupid mistakes in our biology lab. Anybody experienced the same thing? Omg, I’m cringing rn🤦‍♀️😂 Please tell me I’m not the only one.

      I DONT think he likes me. I think that he came to believe that I have a crush on him because he thinks I keep staring at him but I was only spacing out. Gosh🙄 And I never said it’s making me sick. I just feel cringy because I made him think that way unintentionally because I space out a lot when I’m tired or bored. Dumb ass.

          It’s fine haha. I really don’t think he has a crush on me. I think that he thinks that I’m the one who has a crush on him (tho, he never said anything) I just feel like ever since he became clumsier and made a lot of mistakes in our lab because I feel like I making him feel uncomfortable. (Idk if I’m making any sense). For ex, what if someone tells you that a person likes you but you’re not sure if they’re telling the truth, how would you feel about it? Would you feel awkward around this person? Would you become nice to them or started saying hi to them all of a sudden? As for this guy, he kind of started acting weird and clumsy ever since. You know, that kind of thing. It’s really hard to explain and Idk if I’m making any sense.

            Aahh fuck no!! Are you really saying this actually I was very furious when I read your post (that's why I couldn't even read the whole) its coz the same thing happened to me last year in college when I was just sitting in my class spaced out like you..trying to solve an integral & I didn't notice that i was constantly staring at a girl

            next day she told the whole class that I was obsessed with her & it stills bums me out
            coz I didn't even know her full name but anyway I totally understand the situation here please try to be nice to that guy & don't tell any of your female friend that he has a crush on you 😇 I feel sorry for you that he misunderstood😅

      No. I don’t think he likes me. I think that he came to believe that I like him (but I dont) because he caught me staring at him many times but I was only daydreaming. Then he started acting weird.
