Why do people think i'm gay and look like a girl and is it normal

First of all people think I'm gay when a handful of people know that I like girls not boys.
The other situation is people think I either am or look like a girl.

Gay: yes I have a higher voice than normal right at the moment and asthma which makes my voice nasally a lot. And I don't have a gay hairstyle or anything. The only reason I think they would think that is because I like to wear skinny jeans and I pull down my shirt sometimes

Girl: I don't have a girls hairstyle first if all and second I don't do anything that girly at all.sometimes I make weird noises/ high pitched noises or do small things a girl would do but not much. Iwhen I play basket ball and sometimes volley ball I accidentally put one leg up and not both and I really don't mean to. Also I don't shave my legs and you can clearly tell there is hair on my legs.

Lastly some people always ask me why do you cross your legs or they will ask I've just never seen s boy cross their legs like that. One kid even is like doesn't that make you have physical pain and I say no

I don't under stand why they say that when clearly they show me how they cross their legs and it hurts and they are clearly doing it wrong it's just so stupid.

Do you think that I'm gay or am a girl or both or neither or an actually straight guy and btw I really like cats

    If someone is stupid enough to gay-stereotype you or think you're a girl over such petty things they're not worth wasting your time over. Don't change yourself to please the ignorant, just rise above it.

    Just be yourself and if people insult you by thinking you're gay or whatever then find new friends.

    Actually, I know of a great paediatric doctor who is exactly like that - and I almost laughed at him when he mentioned his wife and their own child. Some people just don't fit societiy's expectations of a "heterosexual male".

    Don't worry about it. Once you are seen out and about with a steady girlfriend, everyone will realise you are not gay, or a girl.

    Maybe you're a little effeminate in your mannerisms? There are plenty of straight guys who are slightly effeminate in their mannerisms or are simply in touch with their feminine side. I just think some people are ignorant, and they like to spread their ignorance all over everything like margarine.
