Why do people make everything boring and stressful?

There's so many people who have all the money they could ever need, and yet they trap themselves into these busy 12 hour or more work days just doing bullshit supervising of their companies or yard work for 5 hours when they could just pay someone. They should just chill out all day and have fun.

They're brainwashed to always be busy. 2

They don't want to be seen as lazy. 9
They like having no free time. 5

    sometimes purpose is more important than money.

    also they probably want to oversee operations, if they have so much invested in it.

    They know that there's employees with barely any money who will be quite interested in a special friendship with the owner of the company having god-like reverence and power within that social environment, one could reap multiple benificial human resources.
