Why do people ignore good in you?

You should go meet nicer people.

You're mixing with the wrong people: find some positive supportive people to hang around with and stay away from the negative critical types.

No matter what you do for people, they're going to find the bad and screw you. Or, worse..Just disappear after you've done whatever for them. I've been burned so many times, I'm done.

Giving or "loaning" money to people is a joke. If you do, understand one solid thing: you're never seeing it again, no matter who promises to pay back, etc. It's gone like melted snow. Do favors for people or just be an overall good person, guess what? Still going to get screwed.

Wow, the irony in this is the fact that my father is just that. You can do so many extra chores one day and if you do one thing wrong he won't even comment on the things you have done but on the fact that you didn't do that one thing or the fact that you did it incorrectly. It's just how some people are. It's perfectly normal as some people just want to look at the negatives rather than the positive things.

I don't think they do. It's just harder to compliment people because it could be taken the wrong way.

People are animals. We have evolved to sustain survival our survival.

We focus on all he bad things because, even though we aren’t being chased by a predator anymore, those instincts are still in us all. We latch on to ‘the bad’ because we perceive it as a threat subconsciously.

We cannot focus on more of the good things because, as animals, we focus on the bad so we can know where threats exists. It’s imbedded in our subconscious; people will continue to see the bad in everyone so long as human beings exist.

But what do I know. I’m morally dead.

People focus on the negative because it's the easy thing to do. Bitch and moan because they don't have any real problems. And people aren't gonna be nice just because they can they'll be nice if they want something from you. At least that's how I am, could just be me
