Why do people have issue with homosexual marriage?

Some people are worried that it'll lead to homosexual couples raising children, which doesn't fit their image of a normal family, because a child needs male AND female rolemodels in its life.

This argument, of course, is negated by the innumerable number of people who are raising their children as single parents, without these male and female imagos.

Most of the opposition to gay marriage is driven by money. Insurance companies, corporate pension funds and corporate health plans all would suffer significantly less profits it they have to pay out to legitimate spouses. It's so much money we are talking about, that these corporations can support church, political and independent hate group campaigns against gay marriage, without hesitation.
Unfortunately, once again, it's all about the money, honey. Ain't America great?

Marriage is quintessentially a religious practice. Why would gay people want to do such a religious thing? Religious people don’t support homosexuality as the traditional norm. Gay marriage is hypocritical. All things hypocritical lose validity. The more gay couples are supported, the more promiscuous lifestyles appear, deviant violent behaviour, forced male rape and HIV/AIDS seems to thrive. It does not sound like something you would want to promote, unless you’re a degenerate who enjoys watching the decreasing safety and health of people.

It's quite simple, homosexuality is an abomination,and a crime against nature. All homosexuals are mentally ill parasites who deserve zero privilege.

Some people are not they just don't want it to be called marriage. Since there like "Hey we invented this you cant steal it". It like brand name fruit loops getting upset since a generic none brand name company made a cheaper cereal called fruit loops and like "That is our name you have to call it something else". This is the most argued point I have heard of the issue. I personally do not care if gays get married but gay or straight I don't think I personally ever will. I do not have faith in such things.

Men are scared of the jobby jabbers as they think they will bum rape them at any given opportunity.

Because they are afraid that tolerating it will lead to a complete degradation in moral values in this country which will lead to God's wrath.
