Why do people get upset when you write short posts if idea is covered?

I read comments about people getting upset over giant text blocks or posts that are just really long. I mean not everyone wants to read an incredibly long post all the time. It is understandable if you think the post was too short and need more information but why do people complain when posts are too short if they covered the main idea and did not need a ton of information?

    I have no idea why people whinge sometimes. To me, the length of the post is irrelevant as long as it tells you everything you need to know and nothing you don't need to know.

    If the idea was already covered and your post was on topic and well typed with good grammer, I mean grammar, then people who don't like the posts are silly. I find more problems with long paragraphs as responses because I sometimes do this to friends on Skype. I don't do it all the time but if its a topic that hits home, I can type quite a bit about it and a few admit that they don't like the wall of text. I type on Skype just like I'm doing right now though and I listen to them whenever something bad happens to them and they need to vent yet mine are such a problem. -_- Friends, I tell you.

    Usually the one-liners are like spam or trolling/jokes. I think if one's problem can be summed up by one sentence then they might as well have went to yahoo answers... I see this site as more for stories/ explaining yourself

    If the main idea is covered and pertinent information is too. I don't mind long posts though I understand how some might not like them.

    Lol I get upset when people write long as posts and its just ONE HUGE PARAGRAPH. Like bitch go back to 2nd grade English and learn how to space properly.

    I don't get upset by short posts. Unless, of course, they us dis shitty txt talk n liek is soooo hard 2 reed.
