I don't get why the guys who are into dominatrixes and stuff actually enjoy having painful, torturous stuff done to them. I knew a girl who was a dominatrix and she said she did some really messed up things to the guys that came in like hooking them up to cogs, kicking them, whipping them, and other stuff like that. Plus, how do they feel safe with subjecting themselves to getting tortured by someone who gets a sexual rush out of hurting people.

    You didn't mention masochistic women in your post, but I think I would consider myself one such woman. I don't know if it is different for guys, but for me personally it has nothing to do with leather or ball gags or any of the other stereotypical S & M things, but instead it is about a loss of control. I am such a major control freak in so many areas of my life that I get tired of always having to follow all my self-imposed rules. In spite of (or perhaps because of) this I have fairly recently developed (or perhaps discovered?) a fetish for being dominated and ravished by handsome gentlemen of power and prestige.

    the guys who are into it get sexual pleasure from being abused just like how a dominatrix gets pleasure from abusing guys. guys who like it think there is something very hot about being dominated by a beautiful woman and practically becoming her slave. a big part of what makes this hot for a guy is knowing that the dominatrix does not care at all about his feelings and pain (and even better if she enjoys delivering pain, without ever feeling pity, remorse, or empathy for the slave). like you said, when a dominatrix gets pleasure from hurting a guy (and shows it), then that guy's pain turns into his pleasure. usually there is a "safety word" that if the slave says it, the dominatrix will stop. but that is only for situations where the guy feels like he absolutely cannot take any more torture.
