Why do people always jump to conclusions?

I have seven guy friends, only one friend that's a girl (same gender) i mainly hang out with a huge group of boys either at school or the skate park. But one of them;Jared. Is my best friend and we ALWAYS stick together like everywhere I go, he goes. And we both are those people that no matter what you do they won't shut up. Many people (mainly girls) say "You're so in love!" Or "You should so date each other! -face palms- this is the one thing that annoys me, and I particularly don't get annoyed at many things. Just because a boy and a girl hang out they're immediately in love? I live with a boy twin, talking to boys is basically in my nature! My best friends have been guys all through my life and I deal with the same thing, people saying we're in love or that we should date...can't we just be stupidly good mates? I have come to a conclusion...ask for help. What you do if you were in my shoes?

    Obviously guys attract to you.
    Be aware that 99.9% of all guys are probably sexually attracted to you.
    You have 7 guy friends
    They have 7 all trying their best to be with you.

    In these modern days girls CAN have multiple guy friends, and these guys have been conditioned over their young life to accept you as an equal. But you are NOT, you are someone's prize :)

    Because everyone is the center of their own universe! People are selfish. Best thing you can do is find a group of people to hang with who are more giving of themselves, not so self-absorbed...who actually care what you think and about you...not their own retarded needs.

    Because when people jump to conclusions it's based on what they know. If they're used to seeing two people as close to each other as you are,then it's only natural to assume you're an item.

    I'm going to jump to the conclusion that you're very young. As you grow older your friends will mature and shut up. I've got quite a few female friends and nobody ever suggested I'm in love with all of them.
    So ... Just wait, I guess.
