Why do people act upset over war

Why do people act upset over war. When they find something on the tv saying something like a kid was shot during a shoot out or something like that they act all upset and say humans should make a stand. But and hour later they act like nothing happened and don't change anything. They act all upset when in reality they don't care at all. And they never try to make a change. It annoys they hell out of me. I dislike war and stuff like that but I'm not upset about it all animals fight and die. It's survival. All animals have territory they defend while others try to invade it. So I don't act all sad and say I'm gonna make a change when an hour later I completely forget about it.

    Someone, somewhere dies every moment. It's not possible to show extreme depression for someone you don't know, that's just how human psychology works.

    That is where you're wrong. There are people out there who tries to make a change, but conflict is inevitable. In conclusion we all do what we can.

    Why don't you try being a Syrian whose family died in a war? Maybe then you'll learn the reason.

    Also, not all animals fight. Oysters, for example, are sedentary.

    I'm sorry, is your question about whether it's normal to be upset by war, or normal not to?
    Since you're probably a young person living in an industrialized nation, you'll probably never have the experience of having your town firebombed or watching your family members be torn limb from limb for happening to live near some oil. It's unlikely that you'll have a baby born without a head due to lingering radiation from a war that took place years ago, or be raped to death by soldiers on one side or another, or have your children kidnapped to be child soldiers and never hear from them again. When you support war, you're supporting these things happening to people in other countries. War is hell. There are no exceptions.

      All the things you described are shy I'm mad. The people living in a peaceful healthy community complain about all those things but then they do nothing about it and act like nothing happened an hour later. I'm happy I am privileged to live in a peaceful country but people act like their so upset when not longer after hearing about it they don't even care anymore
