Mind. Fucking. Blown.
I never realized this until you just mentioned it. I don't think I've ever seen an old woman with long hair, like old women above 50. Sheesh. I'm going to remember this whenever I see an old woman now. God damn you.
#illuminati.
THAT'S something I question a well and it makes me wonder if I'll wind up having short hair in the future. lol
I never understood this either? Do women turn lesbian after a certain age or..
If its elderly they are starting to lose it or its graying. If its women in there 20s its because its easier to manage or they think its cute. Long hair is easy to tangle and very hard to maintain. I actually asked. So there is the big mystery.
I suppose I understand when women cut it short when they've gone completely grey the hair loses its fullness and sheen, so would look witch-like to wear it long. But until you go grey, I don't see why all women don't have their hair long, it enhances EVERYONE. Short hairstyles tend to make girls look moon-faced for some reason, just my opinion though.
I've been wondering this forever. I will never be one of those women. I'm going for a record.
As for why older men tend to wear plaids, there's a possibility that this is the prevalent pattern that they grew up with. Plaid, to me, is mostly a conservative pattern. A lot of the older generation seems to be conservative. If you came from a more conservative background, you may be less inclined to go out and experiment with less conservative patterns.
This is just my theory on the matter. It would be very interesting if someone were to conduct a study on this subject.
Do they really? hum. Maybe because they keep one warm? I thought the girls liked a guy in a Pendleton? Aren't they considered 'manly', like a lumberjack?
Aw,I only have one left and he's not himself anymore :( when my dad's dad died, I got all of his snap up plaid shirts. I wore them til they literally fell apart.
My paternal grandpa used to wear plaid shirts practically all the time. He was always working in the garden and walking my uncle's Dalmatian.
Mine was always workin on his boat. And they were the best shirts ever! Mother of pearl snaps and everything.
Sounds nice.
Oops, I made a mistake. It was my maternal grandfather that wore the plaid shirts. I only just remembered this, because my paternal grandfather lived in Sayville, Long Island and had a sail boat, but I don't recall him ever working on it. My maternal grandfather was from Colombia, South America and had a farm at one time.
Did I mention I have a sinus infection? Bloop. It's been cray, and the antibiotics are making me feel weird, kinda nauseous, dizzy and tired.
It's either plaid or a solid, from what I've seen. In recent years, I've seen more younger men wearing plaid than older men. Action sports companies (especially, skateboarding) make a lot of plaid shirts, as do some higher end companies that seem to mainly target the younger population. .
I want to know why they love Stetson and old English cologne as well ... those fragrances smell terrible , don't they know this?
