Is it normal to have a crush on a boy in the first grade( I was most likely 6 years old) and to remember the boy and his name, my mom thought it was weird when I told her that I had a crush at that age?
Hell I had crushes on boys in kindergarden! And my first crush way back when I still remember his name.

i think you're looking for reinforcement because you remember you're mom disaprooving even though you hadn't done anything wrong. she was in the wrong.

wen i was in elementary skool i neva cared tht much a bout boys, but i remember the 1st guy who let me noe tht he had a crush on me in yr5. i was freaked out and kept avoiding him until he 4got me and started going out w/ 1 of the popular grls of tht skool. i remember everything, his full name, his siblings names (they were all popular, every1 new their names) and so many things about him.
and now im much older, i still remember almost every boy i had a crush on.
so if its not normal, there are plenty of us considered abnormal :)
Yeah its normal. . . Way more people are like you then you thought actually over half the population is. . . . They have a word for it. . . Its called pedophilia. . . . See when your that age you don't have feelings of attraction u have a foundness and now when you look back on it and remember feeling an attraction or crush it is your current feelings telling. You are still in love. I personally was in love in 7th grade with my 2nd grade crush. But she fell in love with me too late when I was dating other girl. The one wich I should have married. Now my girlfriend hates kids, but not sex...
That's normal. I remember my first crush, it was in kindergarten and I was 5. I can't stand the kid now, he's one of my most hated individuals, but remembering all this is completely normal. =D

I've had a crush over a boy in my class when I was 6 and I was so stupid that I was asking my mom to help me write a letter for him.. hehe When she asked me who's that .. I got so embarrassed and told her it's just a game.. I still remember everything about it .. how I felt and The look on my mom's face. So yeah it is normal i think
Very normal! I hade a crush on a boy in grade.. KINDERGARTEN!!! ANyway, I remember his age, name, where he lives, his moms name, sisters name, and dads name. Plus which vehicles he has and eveyrthing. Thsis is proably because I go to schol with him still and STILL like him! Ever since then I haven't stopped likeing him obnce and I find that sad and pathetic. He is also a jerk and an egomaniac, he always has and always wil be. This boy was you're first crush and thats very memoribal, makeing this rather normal.

yes! my first crush was in kindergarten. i moved away after first grade but then back again for ninth and my assigned seat in homeroom was next to that boy. i remembered his face and name after all those years.

haha i remember the boy i had a crush on in gr1.. i changed schools in gr2 and in highschool he went to mine and i saw him and was like omg i had a crush on him for so long! and ppl laughed at me lol but we never actually talked till last year and im 22 now haha and he was so nice! buuut with his gf lol oh well guess ill never kno what woulda happend:P

I actually had a crush on a boy in the 1st and 2nd and 3rd grade and I even remember his name, it was Brandon Welsh. I even remember giving him a Lion King valentine days card and it was kind of a romantic one so he threw it in the trash and I was crushed. I actually saw him a few years later in a walmart and he smiled at me. I was so in love with him even at 7 or 8 years old. LOL.
