Why do i pass out when i urinate when i am high

I don't smoke pot, just edibles. While camping with friends we had some brownies and I guess I had more than usual, went back to tent later, feeling fine.
Get up to urinate and passout. No idea how long. No-one found me thank God because my dick was still out. Lol.

Anyway the question is was the blackout triggered by urinating and should I avoid urinating next time? Also any idea how long the blackout was?

Today my cousin told me a similar story where he impaled himself on a security gate when he passed out.

When I woke I felt like I weighed a ton, but I still some how felt good and proceeded to return to the tent for an awesome nights sleep.
