Why do i need to share my resources?

With people who don't have any and also refuse to do anything to make their situation better in life? If you aren't working a JOB you shouldn't have resources.

Complaining isn't a job, it's a useless endeavor so try being productive instead.

Communism clearly doesn't work.

From my understanding; the idea behind unemployment benefits is predominantly targeted at the percentage who are experiencing short-term joblessness (think: frictional unemployment). Most governments tend to believe that with a small, but uncomfortable amount of money, these people will actually go job-hunting again. Does it work? Often.

When it doesn't, it's a shame and it's the cost of unemployment benefits. In my country, the government tries to make sure that people receiving the benefit are actively job-hunting - with mixed results.

So, why do you need to share your resources? You share your earnings because tax-evasion is a crime even though you hate how some of that goes to scum. A lot of people feel the same way.

    Crow is totally right.
Also there's a huge difference between being social and communism. Sharing resources, looking out for the poor, helping those in need - These are part of every working society. Societies are a SOCIAL construct - Hence the name.

Now granted there are various degrees of this around the world, but for the most part people in very social states like in Scandinavia tend to be happier and have way lower crime rates.

America is a little behind the rest of the developed world when it comes to social matters. The reason for this I think is the cold war. Now they're really scared of anything even remotely "socialist". But that's as absurd as saying: "The Titanic sank, so we should stop building ships." - Of course not - We just need a different KIND of ship and not be so reckless with it.

But yeah, EVERY system is unfair. That's just a fact. It's because a system applies to everyone, but everyone is different. So some people are gonna get what they did not deserve. In a harsh system some good people are gonna get fucked over; In a nice system some bad people are gonna be treated nicely.
I'd rather live with the latter.
