Why do I keep attracting men that are broken or come from divorced homes? Thinking back I have probably only dated one guy who has their parents together still

    Well, just because you didn't come from a broken home doesn't necessarily mean that your family situation wasn't dysfunctional in its own way. Maybe there is a part of you that is codependent, and addicted to drama?

      The best predictor of success is whether you grew up in a 2 parent household to biological parents. Its a even bigger predictor than IQ.

        I grew up in a two parent household, and neither of my parents abused drugs, or alcohol, but I'm not particularly successful.

    Idk but if you're trying to settle down you ought to go after a winner. Prioritize successful men that can provide and lead in life. Dont go for the guy in the trailer park on foodstamps. Go for the guy thats getting his doctors degree and is good looking.

    Is it an issue if someone's parents divorced when they were a kid? I don't see how that really matters between adults. It's not even something that would come up in conversation that often, I would have thought?
