Why do i hear songs playing in real life while dreaming

Literally less than 20 minutes ago I was sleeping and my alarm went off, but I didn't wake up. I was still in the dream and I could hear it (the alarm was If I lose myself- Alesso remix) the song was playing and I could hear it, for the fist few seconds I looked around for the source of it but I couldn't find it so I just carried on with the dream. Then halfway through the first drop I crashed my car and got thrown out and while in the air I woke up, and the creepiest part was when I woke up, the song was playing on par with the song in the dream. How on earth could this happen?

    The 5 senses still work when asleep. Things manifest in dreams from the real world because of this.
