Why do i feel this way about a teacher?

I think i'm in love with my teacher. For three years i haven't been able to stop thinking about him, and finally this year he's not my teacher. I've always glanced at him when he wasn't looking and he has caught me many times. I've always seemed to catch him looking at me a couple of time when we're near. Is it because he thinks i'm weird and knows i have a crush on him? He is at least 25 years older than me so i know it's totally weird. What can i do? Does he think i'm a creep?

Honey, you are just one of many. Almost all little girls fall for a teacher. Something about father figures or whatever.
The only thing he wants from you, unless he is a pedo, is for you to stay away from him and not to cause him problems.

  I guess your right.
  I mean he kind of did things which lead me on. When he was my teacher, he was always really kind towards me (and was different with the other students) and there were times where he did things which were past the student teacher boundary. Like he purposely rested his hand against mine for a whole minute. I go to a really strict school so thats not considered normal. But thanks, i'll try to stay away from him.

Um. Well since he's not ur teacher this year thats great. Less time around him =less time thinking about him = u will get over ur crush. Or u know u cud just tell him u like him.

  It's kind of impossible to stop thinking about him when i basically see him everyday. I wish i could tell him that i liked him (He probably already knows) but i go to a private school and if anything got out, it would be a disaster. I sometimes feel like he likes me back but he's hard to figure out. When he was my teacher he would often say odd things that were kind of hinting at a crush. You know when you get to know someone better, there's something they do that you really fall for? Every time he laughs and smiles, it drives me crazy. I want it to stop. I just want to think of him as an ordinary teacher. He just has this effect on me and it won't go away :(

I had a crush on my 31-year-old 8th grade english teacher for years after i left the class. he'd just pop into my head a lot. however, i was a very awkward kid, and i'd go bright red and speak shakily when i'd talk to him. he seemed uncomfortable around me, and i'm sure that's why lol. i was, like, 13.

I was in love with my french teacher. I told him and he was amused. We are friends now, not best friends but we have a talk when we meet. He's nearly fifty now and has never been married. No, he doesn't love boys.

The best way is to try and focus your attention elsewhere but also to accept that the situation with him isn't going anywhere . I am sorry to hear about your negative experiences prior but we all go through it male and female and we will all meet someone again some day! Try to find a boy around your age who has an older soul , a more mature boy who treats you right and just remember not to settle for less .

I had a professor who was the closest thing to a Hollywood vampire I have ever seen, and I mean that in a good way. The lucky bastard had this sultry Romanian accent, the dark European looks and dressed to kill. I could see all of the girls staring at him dreamy eyed as he sauntered back and forth in front of the white boards. I envied him quite a bit. He was a good teacher too, I had him for calculus 3 and probability and statistics.

        It's normal to be infatuated or have a crush; have you tried getting more time to spend with him? perhaps offer to help him out and get to know him better.
        
        It may help to get close to him 1st before declaring your love for him and proposing marriage. =D jk

        If you're 17 now, use this time to build a rapport with him and becoming a part of his life.
        
        You can concentrate on becoming more intimate a few years later.

wait for a good guy your own age to come along , let this poor man be .. you are much too young and it could ruin his life if people suspect something not true based on your behaviour . I know you haven't done anything but that's why I am saying keep this one to yourself and move forward .

  I guess the reason why i first fell for him was because I've been hurt by three guys my own age who just used me for their own pleasure. He just grew on me, the more i got to know him, and he's much more mature then guys my own age. But i understand that nothing can happen between us. It's just every time i see him, i get the fluttery feeling in my heart and i can't seem to stop thinking about him :/. Any ideas on how to stop this? I've already tried so many things but nothing seems to work. I just want my feelings for him to go away.
