Why do i care about people who could care less about me?

Why is it that I care the most about people who don't care about me and the people who actually care about me I put last?
I walked a mile in the 90 dagree weather, today, drunk to my car which I then drove home. I did make it home safe, thank god, but NOBODY cared to even call me to even ask if I was ok. Nobody would even drive me to my car where I HAD to park it (a mile away.) am I being selfish to think this way? What should I do?

    Maybe friends didn't drive you to your car because you were too drunk to drive it! If that is the case, they are a lot smarter than you are.

    If you care about people and these same people don't care about you, they're not worth it. Chuck them and move on to other people.

    Don't think of not being cared.There's always people who really cares at you.Its just that they are not the one;)
