Why do girls over look the "nice guy", and go for the douche??..

Its because we're still battling our ancient instinct to seek out aggressive men who can protect the cave and bring home the bacon...or mammoth w/e. Mondern aggressive=douche :P

Men do the same thing. They go for these good looking girls that are sluts and are just going to hurt them. It goes both ways

Those douchy types seem more aggresive and therefore manly. Wish I could explain better than that, but those "bad boys" get me everytime...

Women who like men who are rotten to them have been abused!! It took me years to figure that out. I also attracted these kind of men into my life, FOR YEARS, until I went to counseling and figured out I had been abused as a kid.

I guarantee you that this girl has been abused and neglected by her father. Every time you run across a female who prefers bad men over good it is absolutely certain she has been abused and has low self-esteem as a result. She doesn't understand what she is doing to herself and chances are she has no idea she was abused by her Dad.

Abuse can be very subtle and can include Verbal, Emotional, and Sexual components - not just the Physical, which is what most people think of as abuse. If her father is not in her life (abandonment) that also counts as abuse. If he is a drug-user or alcoholic, that counts as abuse too.

She needs professional help to see what she is doing to herself. Tell her to Google "signs of abuse" or "signs you have been abused" and go from there.

Because we women are idiots when it comes to this topic. I don't date men but it happens in my world too. Lol!

But such are the ways of this world. I just hate the fact the I was taught be nice to girls and you'll get a real nice one. Lol. Such bullshit.

I'll either wind up getting a used one(finishing last) later on or dating a clingy psycho in rarer cases.

Because women like a challenge... Women want to be chased... Women want to what they think they can't have. Nice guys are easy and boring. You have to shake it up a bit ever once in awhile. Be standoffish, act like you don't care a little, don't make things so easy. Don't call her back, make her want you. Hang out with friends and don't invite her. :)

guys the reason the the complete jerks get the girls and the nice guys dont is simply because the jerks know exacly what to say to a girl just to get into her pants and most of the nice guys are shy and rarly speak i should know im dating a nice guy (a nerd). oh yaa girls if you want a nice guy go for the nerds they might be shy at first but they`ll get the hang of it

I'm a girl, I've been with a douche who thinks he can have any girl he wants, and usually girls (most girls) go after the douche, because thy want to see which type fits them, the douche or the nice guy!! I prefer nice guy, but always get caught up in a thing with a douche! But anyways, if a girl goes back to the guy that broke her heart, it's because she like him, and will try her best to keep the relationship going, and there's nothing (possibly nothing) someone could do to stop love! Only STUPID girls do. Sometimes I feel like i'm the only girl who likes guys who deserve nice girls. I like geeky guys and guys who don't show off but have a good sense of humour, a good conversationalist and someone who I can be my weird self with and who's smart.

haha, well i dont repulse women i assure you. And I think this will be a great topic for my phsycology paper..get in to the minds of the douche seeking females..does this have to do with the whole daddy syndrome? by this i mean, because there dad is a douche, they look for a douche.

Try being a douche for a day with a random girl. Build up some experience. That way you'll have enough of an even balance to not repulse women completely.

my sister is the same. she keeps going for all these jerks and actually moved states to be with one of them and they have broken up and got back together so many times. i have given up on trying to talk sense into her. if she wants to keep going out with these morons and doesnt learn from it then all you can do is be there for her when they break her heart again. girls do play silly games sometimes, she might even be trying to make you jealous so you will ask her out. most girls grow out of it but like i said, just be her friend and dont tell her you told her so because then you will probably loose her as a friend.
