Why do assholes live longer?

Why is it that all the good people die off year all the assholes seem to live longer?

I don't get it is it scientific spiritual or whatever I just don't get it.

    You don't get it because there's nothing to get. It's not always true.

    I knew someone who was a huge jerk, and he died in his early 60's.

    Good people probably endure more stress for actually giving a shit about everyone's feelings. People are usually assholes because of some abuse in their past, which also made them "stronger" for this world. Just guessing though.
