I like answering people's questions and helping with their problems, it makes me feel like Frasier Crane.

I guess it's other. I found a few interesting polls (and IIN-questions) that I really wanted to answer. This is my second comment ever on this site. Hi. :)

I was searching on racialism and somehow reached here.... I was impressed by the comments and arguments here. and started visiting this site.. for about two to three months I came here and used to read comments.. long before I joined in this site would hep me solve many problems .. then I could no more keep my self using it and I made an account and Oh I've been loving it since then...

its just a very best place to share your views and get to know the general views of people...

I was looking up a medical question I had on google and started it with "Is it normal that...". This website came up and I was instantly hooked. I spent hours reading the comments and crazy questions and laughing out loud. I signed up straight away. :D

I Googled the question: is it normal for mothers to not care if their toddler's learn to speak.

My sister-in-law thinks that parenting is only about making sure that the kids are fed and don't have a shitty bum. So, if they aren't crying, she's watching television or reading a book and completely ignores them. Now her oldest is going into Kindergarten in September and he still can't talk - she's hoping that the teacher will teach him how.

It made me so angry that she considers them a burden on her pathetic tv-watching life, so I wanted to find out if it was a common trend.

A few months back I had a boyfriend that had biting fetish. But he'd bite in non intimate moments too. I googled around to see if it was normal found this site. So I came here on based on need, then I looked at the other stories like "IIN to masturbate everyday?"

i just googled uncircumcised vs circumcised and an iin story popped up. I looked at and then felt compelled to comment so i made an account. half a year later i'm still here!

One night a little over a week ago I was fed up with how boring everything always seemed to me. I wanted to know if it was normal, so I went on google and typed in, "Is it normal to be so bored with life?" and bam, this website was the first one on the list so I checked it out. Instantly fell in love with the concept and signed myself up.
Still waiting to use members chat though. :(

I read the site for three months and never thought I'd be one of the people who post.

Then someone I thought I'd always know split up with me. Totally out of the blue. And very, very publicly. I was a mess for the last six months of last year and it was easier to ignore it and concentrate on other people's problems.

So I posted.

If she hadn't have done what she did, I'd probably still be reading and I'd still know all of you. You just wouldn't know me because I would never have set up an account.

Honestly, I was bored.

really why i did is to ask that {person with there cat does there cat really eat earwax} because my cats do and its strange,

and to tell this other person that left a comment that earwax is healthy for the cats to eat anyways from the searches i have found on cats eating earwax it is normal and it is healthy for the cats from the search to here said if it wasn't healthy the animal wouldn't eat it. end of convo.

I originally came he're to find hilarious posts and gawk at weirdos. Then I remembered I was one and could try to use my life experience to help others. I've been addicted ever since.

I was actually searching to see if being asexual was a normal thing, and it brought me here. And I stayed. :]

I said "Other". I mostly joined because I was tired of Yahoo! Answers. There's too much stuff that you're not allowed to post on there.

Another reason that IIN is better is there's no points system. On Yahoo! Answers, people will give dumb answers just to get points. Here, when someone answers, they (usually) actually have some input. Also, if you try to post something that the management don't want on the site, they just won't put it up. On Y!A, if you post something they don't want, they punish you for it by deleting it and deducting your points score.

I still ask questions on Y!A occasionally but I use IIN way more. I love taking surveys that ask questions that most people think are a waste of time, but I find interesting.

This became almost a rant. Hope no one minds. Anyhow, that's basically how I ended up making an account.

I want to know if the thoughts and feelings I have are "normal" - so far, all of mine have been rated "Not Normal" so I guess that answers that. :(

I like commenting on other people's stories too. I either give advice, or say "hey, I feel the same way".

At first I signed in because I needed an escape from frying my brains out self-teaching myself computer codings. Now I do it to see what a bunch of really simple shits post here; {Have met several thus far}:

Interestingly enough I typed the question "Is it normal to be sexually aroused by mascots/mascot costumes?"
After typing it and seeing a variety of websites, I saw this one. I read for probably 30 minutes and decided I like it. It was interesting to see that there are others who question why they like the the things they like and it is refreshing for me to see that things that I have been brought up to believe were "sick" or "freaky" are really rather commonplace. I stayed for that reason and because I hope that perhaps I can help out furries who find this site who are struggling with their loved ones and themselves with being a furry. It is kind of like my mission statement and one I put in my profile.

Yeah, I googled something strange (I do not recall what it was now...) and isitnormal is what came up. I looked at some of the stories and thought that they were hilarious. So, I decided to join :)

I never usually choose 'Other' but I had to. I had originally signed up 4 years ago because I thought some of the stories were funny, and I felt like giving my 2 cents in.

Now it's more of me trying to give some advice, and making jokes.
