If your hair is dyed, why do you do it?

If only it wasn't such a damaging process. Oh well. I bleach my hair because its been getting darker for a long time now. I had dirty blonde with light streaks as a kid. Now its the color of, I don't know, shit maybe. I hate it. Its a dingy, ashy brown and I hate it!
My hair is pure white for about an inch into my hairline all around my face. I get some blonde highlights to blend it in with the rest of my naturally dark blonde hair, otherwise, it looks a little strange.
I dyed mine black, my hair is naturally the ugliest shade of brown possible and I just wanted something different.
i dyed my hair becuase my natural shade of hair the ugliest shade of dish water dirty blonde...i would say it sorta looks like grey brown and im 20. i dyed it blonde first but with my cooler skintone i decided to go with a dark redish brown and it looks perfect on me
i dyed my brown bangs blonde, because otherwise it looks really greasy and bleh.
Other: I dyed my hair because I hated my natural hair color (dirty blonde), which I don't hate anymore but it's easier too keep dying my hair brown than to let it grow out (or god forbid, BLEACH IT!) ...
Plus brown hair is nice.
I REALLY love black hair. I wish black complemented my skin tone, but sadly it does not :(
57 years old and still a natural platinum blonde. No signs of grey or balding.
I dyed my hair black because I was miserable and wanted to be surrounded in black. It really brought out my eyes though. Now it's just back to brown though it's not the natural shade. Which makes me look really old btw.
Lady gaga said light blonde is exotic...
So I went gaga blonde for the fun of it.
