Why did she laugh when i told her i like her

There is a lady who operates the train I take to work every morning. First off we don't talk so I barely know her but we do speak to each other. For the record I'm a woman. She has been doing little subtle things at me giving me the impression she likes me or is interested but she never says anything to me or smiles at me. I've been told to ignore her which I do but she seems to do little things to make it like she wants my attention I don't know if she likes me or is playing mind games which I don't play. So I was bold and told her I like her just to see where her head was but she laughed not in a mean way. But it was just that when I initially told her she was hard and stoned face but when I got off the train that day and since then she has changed her demeanor and body language it's much softer all of a sudden. Is she playing with me or does she like me. Keep it real

    If she's at work she can't flirt openly. I would ask which time she got off work and invite her for a coffee.

    It's really hard to tell from your description but I think by now she would have reciprocated more if she wanted a relationship with you. Why don't you just keep it friendly and smile for a while and give her a chance to show you if she feels anything stronger without pushing it. Let the ball be in her court now.
