Why could i smell perfume/ a nice scent i cant find?

I cant smell it now but its been bugging me that there was a strange flowery or perfume smell I could smell in my room but I could not find it.
Nobody else could smell it only me, It would go away and then maybe a month or later it would come back, I even took everything out of my room and smelled everything but can not find it. Is it a spirit or ghost?

    If its a nice floral smell that's a sign of a good spirit or a holy apparition. Most times people get holy visions they smell roses. Be glad its a nice smell.
    Other than that...maybe schizophrenia or a brain tumor. But most likely youre fine.

    The Blessed Mother is said to smell like roses. However, smelling things that aren't there is also a symptom of seizures in the brain or even a potential brain tumor. Although typically in the case of a brain tumor what one smells are bad smells.

    My friend sprayed my room with body spray when we were kids. I kept noticing the smell for almost 10 years until I went to uni.
    Never found the source xD

    Do you ever open your windows? Maybe you caught a wiff of some gardenias or something when the wind blowing in the right direction. Or maybe you hugged a friend and got their perfume on you.
