Well there are certainly very mean women out there lately, and i can see why many of us guys are single today thanks to them. Very hard these days for many men looking for a good woman to settle down with, especially the way women have changed over the years which is Not for the good at all.
It's not just women, OP. There's alot of mean men out there too that causes alot of females to be single. If there's anything to blame it's poor parenting and a poor societal set-up. If society focused more on making people live in social communities of 3-4 families each and made their kids grow up together in positive locations and ideals (instead of making us create devisions in our society), corruption probably wouldn't be such an issue. You'd think with over 7 Billion people, no one would be alone and everyone would have that special someone waiting for them.
bashing the opposite sex is juvenile. both sides do something to the other, not everyone, it depends on who the person is.

I don't think they are being 'mean'; they're just not taking bull-poop anymore. If you're having troubles, try looking into your behavior and seeing if there's anything you can improve. After all, it's easier to change yourself than to change everyone else.
Maybe because we want to be treated as more than just sex objects, because that's seriously all we are anymore, which still hasn't changed in the past several centuries. Yet when we ask for respect, guys get all pissy and say stuff like "omg you're a stupid feminist, just let me stare at your tits." Trust me, you're getting the treatment you deserve.
Do you have any friends that are girls? You ought to let one of them critique your 'game' because you're jaded as hell and could use some new strategies.

I'd say it's because their lives suck, and all their energy is taken up trying to live and so they have none left for being nice.
Not every single woman out there is "mean". This notion makes me wonder how you're acting to cause such a consistent pattern.

But like what a lot are saying it depends on the person not gender. We all live differently, were raised differently and have different thoughts and beliefs. We all have different insecurities and areas of low confidence and very few have not through time. We all need to learn to gracefully take every step through life and not let others get in own way of our goals. At the same time our goals can changes because we change.
Don't take anything personally. If you see someone get angry remember it was their inner feelings not you, you can not control a person.

You all set your standards so fucking high that no human could possibly match up to your vision of the perfect mate. Some are in love with the characters on a TV show, not the actors, but the fucking characters, for fuck's sake; nonexistent people a team of writers create each week. Others fall madly for amine characters; what girl could or would even want to look like that IRL?
Back when I was a teen, they were trying to sell us the Barbi Doll look; some fell for it some didn't. But the point is that since time began, men have been seeking the perfect woman and women have been seeking the perfect man, and frankly, none of us is perfect.

I have found a wonderful partner in life and again you KNOW absolutely not of what you speak. I did NOT choose her because she is young or blonde; we chose to go sailing together. I am sorry to make you so angry. I have a big problem with older men getting together with younger women or greencard women. This makes women mean! And men unhappy.
I have seen people destroyed by these relationships, including children of age gap romances. You have chosen to be with a much younger woman. I can't help but say something! I do wish you and your woman contentment.
What green card romance? We're both citizens of the same country. I've seen people destroyed by same age romances, haven't you? There are no rules in all this. We all try the best we can to be happy. I'm quite sure my wife is so much happier than those girls her age that have never even been kissed, those with children (or without) and no love, job or foreseeable future.
And if it doesn't work out down the road, well the lucky girl got to sail around the Caribbean, got to party with the super rich in St. Barth's and Mustique, hiked to the waterfalls in Dominica, walked the same stones in Nelson's dockyard, 230 years after he did, or dancing the streets at carnival in Martinique.
No matter what, how many young women can say that they LIVED their lives like that, rather than struggled through each day of drudgery, anguish and heartbreak? And that there was love, as long as it lasted?

It sounds like you are giving an easy life to your wife, and you seem to be happy and having fun.
I was in a similar romance. Once it ends, the young woman has let go of her life to live yours. Then she has nothing left. old friends are different than she is, young men are different than she is. It is hard for her to start again, she "missed the starting gun".
And when we are young, it is a good thing to struggle.We struggle with everyone else our same age, then feel a part of our own generation. It makes us happier in the long run.
I don't think you are in a greencard romance, but to me age gap and greencard are similar. There is less love, more status and money.

Women want men to open their doors. Men to pull out their chairs. Men to send them flowers at work. Goodnight texts. Women crave a big house and a bigger bank account. Even though they say big is beautiful they want their men to look like Channing Tatum not Danny Devito. They want men to rub their feet. Nibble on their ears and tell them their beautiful. They want to be queens and princesses. I could go on but its deaf ears that listen.
As for men we're simple. All we need is a beer in one hand and a boob in the other. ;)
If MEN QUIT BEING SUCH ASSHOLES. The amount of times men use, lie to, manipulate, take advantage of women I would be pissed and angry and mean also. I'm a guy and my gripe is Women that try and say "I'm pregnant and it's your baby", I been there twice, married 2x, divorced 2x, and 2 paternity tests. I was in the military back then and my then wife wanted the benefits and $$. Even tho she was pregnant when we got married, something she failed to tell me about before. Regardless, you reap what you sow. Treat others as you would like others to treat your daughters.
I get what you mean. Women are hella annoying today because they have put up this front like they don't want or need a man. BULLSHIT. They are just trying to look tough like nothing bothers them. At the end of the day, they still want that guy by their side. That's just how women are; emotional creatures who long for an emotional bond. But yes I do agree that a lot of these women are this way now because of the douchebags they come across. The past year, I have lost so much hope in guys that yeah I am holding on to my dude right now because I'm just afraid to go through the process of trust again and get betrayed. Guys are so lowkey bastards. Anyone cheats today, its terrible.
So I think women and men are both fucked up in their own ways but I do get where you're coming from. And just because guys keep losing points in terms of trust, doesn't give the right to women to put up a front as if they're fine by themselves because deep inside, they're NOT and they're being IN DENIAL.
Just a general lack of empathy in most humans these days, not necessarily women. Even though, now that I think about almost all of the most horrible things done to me in my live have been the direct result of an association with a hand full of women. None of my guy friends or guys I've dated have doe. Anything as cruel and as heartless as most of the women I've been with, when you break a woman's heart or sometimes not even that, they tend to be very malicious. Like... I've never had an ex bf make up rape accusations because I broke up with them.
