Because those grotty lady chomos can get away with it.
Gross double standards about sexual assault are still pervasive. People think men can't get assaulted because they can't be physically aroused unless they want it. People think all teenaged boys are animals that are perfectly happy about being sexually violated by an adult in a position of power.
There's way too many people who see no problem with a gross pervert lady teacher fucking a 13 year old.
It's super fucked up.
So you're saying it's all society's fault and the adult teacher bears no responsibility?
No, retard lol. Of course they do.
I'm saying people who want to do heinous things are less likely to do it if they know there will be consequences.
The fact that female teachers are oftentimes exempt from the same legal consequences as their male counterparts makes them more likely to act on their gross attractions to students.
“I'm saying people who want to do heinous things are less likely to do it if they know there will be consequences.”
Wrong, very wrong. Statistics show they just work harder at getting away with it. The death penalty doesn’t even lower murder rates. If a person wants to do something heinous, they will, consequences be damned.
The reason you think so is because you are afraid of consequences. You are applying your psychology to that of others, and that is erroneous. I can see why you, and others, think that it makes a big difference but it doesn’t. Consequence doesn’t make heinous crime somewhat rare, it’s simply that truely heinous people are somewhat rare.
Omfg this fuckin' post...
Ok, so what you are discussing here is preventative justice/crime deterrence & I agree with everything you've said I.e. harsher punishments don't statistically lower crime rates. Period. That's been proven.
I probably should have left out the word "legal" because I think that's what has prompted your response.
Legal consequences don't affect capital crime rates- there you're dealing with shit like sociopathy/compulsion too which further complicates those statistics. As far as lesser crimes like property crime and assault, it's impossible to measure deterrence because you can't measure thought crime and there's no data on the consequences of pure lawlessness, just data comparing crime rates to increasingly harsh legal consequences.
What I'm discussing (if you look at my original comment) is a combination of factors. Yes, legal consequences, also social consequences, and also the very act of defining an action as wrong to begin with.
Say you have your teacher, janet, who generally follows the law - she's a high school teacher, for fucks sake. She wears cardigans to work.
Now janet wants to fuck one of her students real bad.
Yeah she might go to jail, but as you said that doesn't act as much of a deterrent
She might not go to jail for that long
Also, she might lose her job
But janet tells her friends & they say teenaged boys would absolutely love that! Go for it!
Janet herself thinks teenaged boys would be super into it too, so it's not really that bad, right?
Should it even be a crime, she might ask?
So when it comes to regular Joe people, not sociopaths or psychopaths, there's a lot of factors that come into play when justifying the commission of a crime. & the social perception of that crime absolutely will play a part in whether people think of something as a horrible act or an act that's technically illegal, but not that big of a deal.
So it's not just fear of specific legal consequences, it's also the dialog surrounding the act itself. It's a process through which a normal, law abiding person can mentally justify a crime. That won't happen surrounding a male teacher fucking an 11 year old. It absolutely does happen when we're talking about a female teacher fucking a 15 year old boy.
One seems 'less bad' to a lot of people & that's a huge issue.
Ah but if she’s considering it then she isn’t a “regular joe“ to begin with. If you ever put any serious consideration into a serious crime, then you are not the regular person you thought you were.
That’s the thing. People who are going to do what they’re going to do aren’t necessarily psychopaths or anything like that. And those that do generally follow the law except for certain things, sleeping with students, are not regular joes. They’re just specific in their crimes.
If consequences were lifted a normal person still wouldn’t do something immoral.
So female teachers don't go to jail for having sex with their students? Really?? I thought they did - in fact, I'm sure they do! And why are you calling me a retard? That's not very polite. Nor is it PC
I'm calling you a retard because you went in a completely weird, nonsensical direction with what I posted, and interpreted it in the dumbest way possible.
Saying there is a larger societal problem that contributes is not the same as abdicating teachers who assault their students, nor is it diminishing their personal responsibility. That's ridiculous, retarded if you will.
& I also never said they don't ever go to jail. Way to interpretively read again. Some do, some don't. I'd wager than many get away with it, although that's an assumption. I'd also say that the sentences are probably less harsh.
What I can say with confidence is that the social spankings (stigma) are definitely less harsh...read any forum like reddit. On any post about this specific issue there will be a shit load of replies saying things along the lines of 'I would've loved to bang my hot teacher at 15. It's no big deal'
That is a problem. If there is a pervasive attitude in society that it's perfectly fine for an older woman in a position of power to have sex with her students, then it's a lot more likely that female teachers who are attracted to their students won't even see that as a huge deal. That's a super dangerous way to think.
I'm sure you'll read the above in the most retarded way possible too, so it'll be interesting to see
& look at my screen name...PC? Really????
Really?? Assummptions? Spankings? And you think I went in a completely weird direction? I interpreted your comment based solely on the ccntent. And yes, the use of the term "retard" is derogatory. How old are you? You sound about 13. I think you know nothing about the subject. And I'll look for an intelligent comment from someone else.
When I was in high school one of the art teachers who was from Australia fucked like a third of the wrestling team and fled back to Australia when it started coming out. She was never charged for anything.
I can't remember if she slept with any of them that weren't 18 though, but it was tons of them.
I think they do it for several reasons: 1) excitement because they’re bored with their teaching jobs 2) it inflates their egos to have power over a young boy 3) it’s exciting that they’re cheating the system and/or their husbands
Idk why, but if my son pulled a really hot teacher I would have mixed feelings of being proud and being mad.
I have the same feelings when my girlfriend bleeds after sex. On the one hand I feel bad that I caused her pain after sex. On the other hand I feel proud that my lil dicky caused that much damage.
There is a double standard when it comes to sex crimes! Women are often only seen as victims and hardly ever as the one who assaults.
Feminism is empowering them, soon it will be a 50/50 share. Equality everywhere!
What makes you think it's so many? And so many compared to what? Male teachers? Statistics for such things can be incredibly misleading because of so many variables. But let's put a pin in the statistics aspect of it all
If you compare teenage boys to teenage girls. By far more teenage boys would be dying to have sex with a teacher. Teenage girls can be horn too, but they may merely fantasize about such a thing, or have crushes. With little girls, a teacher will have to do majority of the pursuing and leading. Where as with boys, it can be as simple as showing interest, and initiating. Generalized trends of course
Dont get me wrong, it is wrong to have sex with someone that young no matter what, not to mention the abuse of a trusted relationship like teacher-student. But it might explain why there are so many instances of female teachers and student news
