Why are people attracted to these types of posts?

Whenever these things are mentioned: The LGBT, scat fetishes, furries, etc., everybody clicks on them immediately upon seeing them, and they are always one of the popular posts. Why do people do this exactly?

    Because they want some attention. Also those topics in my opinion are getting boring.

    Because people posts those topics since they know they will garner a lot of attention and heated reactions from people.
    It works everytime because people get upset.

    Because it's a hot issue that people like to discuss. In the case of scat I imagine it's because people are trolling. People who participate in weird sex are aware they are an extreme minority.
