I recently made a comment on a post I made replying to someone, but it disappeared. Now whenever I write a comment on one of my posts they disappear. Why does this happen and how can I stop it?
Auto-filter. Happens if they contain links or certain "bad words". Just submit a one-word comment like "edit" first then edit your actual comment into its place.
It's because Jesus hates you. My comments never get deleted because I go to church and volunteer at children's events
It's normal. Either one of two things are happening:
The site glitched.
Something thumbed down your post enough to get the mods come delete it.
The only things you can do now are either keep going as normal and try not to hurt anyone's precious feelings, or make a new account.
You forgot about auto-filter. Make that "one of three things are happening."
That's the only one that's actually happening. The site does not glitch in any way that would remove comments, and mods do not care about thumbs down nor do they "come delete" anything.
Oh right, sorry. I would change it, but it's not giving me the option to edit my post anymore. :P
I've had a few come in after a delay when I've commented on my own posts. Not all, but some. Give it a few hours and see if they show up.
