My boyfriend literally takes his phone everywhere. He knows my mobile password and always scrolls through my pics and messages. But if I did it to him he would proberly go mental.
I'm very insecure and am always thinking the worse. I had a bad time with an ex so I'm always thinking my boyfriend will find someone better.
We've been together nearly 5 years now and very happy, but the phone thing is worrying me.
A few weeks back I worked out his password and had a little look (I know I shouldn't of have) but saw a couple of silly messages between his friends. Obviously I got a bit upset as I said before I'm very insecure. Then a few weeks ago I was leaning over for a cuddle and saw some messages about another women. The following day I asked him about it and he just said it was s women that his friend flirts with at work and they were just being lads and saying things to wind each other up. But I think now he thinks I'm constantly snooping through his phone as I noticed his password lock has changed. I'm really worried as to why he's changed it and what or if he's trying to hide something. I can't but help think the worst as I'm so insecure in myself anyway. If I ask him he's going to know that I know he's changed his password.
Any ideas?? Answers from guys are welcome too. Should I be worried?? Or is it a guy thing??

    It means he has stuff in there that will make you upset: maybe porn, maybe female friends he lines to flirt with, maybe naked pics of you. So... he should give you his password and you give him yours. Fair is fair. Why.must he be in control of the relationship?

    He has some things there he does not want you to see. You are with him 5 years and all this time you allowed him to have more privacy and trust than he gave you. I'm not saying there is something wrong with that or eiter of you. Not all relationships are completely equal, nor they are all based on absolute and mutual trust. But it seems that the current situation does not work for you. You even resorted to breaking your unspoken agreement with him and snooped through his phone. I feel it would be harmful to you and your relationship to proceed in this manner. Doing nothing will probably be even worse. Find a better solution.
