  • It's not your fault, you just need to find people who enjoy talking more. There's a difference between a friendship and just considering someone a friend without actually communicating with then.

There's a difference between wanting to talk to someone 24/7 and actually trying to do so: which is it?

If you're more intense than the other person in any sort of relationship and therefore more demanding you will drive people away.

Do they respond quickly every time? It would be a good idea to ask them if you're texting too often

It is okay to like someone a lot but people don't like if you are obsessed. It makes them uncomfortable.

Your good, if you like to talk then talk!

People just have different preferences, and all over the place.

Have you been lonely most of your life? I have, and it made me more of a "clingy" person, especially during my teenage years. I too wasn't aware that others thought my behavior was burdensome and the realization made me feel hurt as well.

I agree with Oh_No's answer; you just need friends are better at communicating, and if you're in your 20s, I find them a rarity. I've tried to finds activities that stimulate my mind and make me feel less lonely, such as hiking and running.
